AXIS Partner of the Year Award

PMT Security Systems recognised with multiple industry awards

PMT Security Systems (PMT) has recently been recognised with two major honours from Genetec, awarded Cloud Partner of the Year and Unified Partner of the Year for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). The awards were given at Genetec’s major partner summit in Danang.

The dual recognition highlights PMT’s continued leadership in delivering advanced, cloud-enabled and unified security technology solutions across some of the region’s most complex environments, including critical infrastructure, retail, data centres and large-scale commercial deployments.

The company’s commitment to the region has also recently been recognised by Axis Communications, winning awards for Australian Partner of the Year as well as Queensland Partner of the Year at a major regional event.

The awards build on PMT’s strong and longstanding partnerships across the global security technology ecosystem. The company holds top-tier partner status with several leading vendors, including:

  • Unified Elite Partner with Genetec (highest tier, multi-award winner)
  • Solution Gold Partner with Axis Communications (highest tier, multi-award winner)
  • Platinum Partner with Hanwha Vision (highest tier, and the only partner at this level in Oceania)
  • Premier Partner with Milestone Systems (highest tier globally, with advisory board involvement)

These partnerships reflect PMT’s ability to work closely with vendors to design, deploy and support best-in-class, multi-vendor security ecosystems tailored to evolving customer use cases and needs.

PMT works extensively with a large and diverse pool of the world’s largest technology partners right across the security technology industry, with many log-standing partnerships. These include a recent series of collaborations with open VMS platform partners Milestone Systems on major, cutting-edge client solutions across multiple industries.

Adrian Smith, CEO of PMT Security Systems, said the PMT team should be very proud of the industry recognition and noted that it reinforces the company’s strategic direction and investment in next-generation platforms.

“We never take our collaborative relationships with the world’s best vendors for granted and winning both Cloud Partner of the Year and Unified Partner of the Year for ANZ from Genetec, and also Partner of the Year from Axis Communications is a strong endorsement of our team’s expertise and our commitment to innovation,” said Smith.

“Success is no longer just about hardware on-site, it’s about intelligent, integrated  and tailored solutions that deliver real-time visibility, scalability and resilience. Our partnerships with the likes of Genetec, Axis, Milestone Systems and our broader ecosystem of the best global technology leaders, enables us to deliver exactly that.”

Managing Director Darren Taylor added that PMT’s continued elevation to top-tier partner statuses globally reflects both technical capability and customer trust.

“Achieving and maintaining the highest partner tiers across multiple leading vendors is no small feat. It requires deep technical accreditation, innovative problem solving, consistent delivery excellence, and a proven ability to execute in complex, high-stakes environments. These awards are ultimately a reflection of our people and our customers.”

PMT has experienced significant growth in recent years, expanding its footprint across Australia and New Zealand while continuing to secure major national clients. The company’s unified approach of combining security, communications and emerging technologies, positions it strongly to meet increasing demand for integrated, cloud-driven solutions to support increasingly sophisticated and preventative security, safety and efficiency challenges for our customers.

The company announced two major data centre deployments in February, both multi-million dollar contracts.

As organisations across ANZ continue to prioritise operational resilience, compliance and real-time situational awareness, PMT is well placed to support the next phase of transformation in integrated surveillance technologies and real-time alerts.
